Privacy Policy

Welcome

At Paradise Real Estate we take privacy as seriously as you do. This policy shows how and why we collect, use, share and manage your personal information, or info.

It also explains how we store and secure that info.
And it shows you how to check and control the personal info we hold, and can collect, about you.
Any time you:

  • use our websites, or
  • enter into an agreement with us through them, or
  • subscribe to our services,

we’ll take it that you have read and agreed to what’s in this policy.

Also, our Agency will update this policy as we need to, to make sure it’s always current. We encourage you to review it now and then, so that you know of any changes. We’ll take your continued use of our websites and apps as acceptance of our revised privacy policy.

Visit Paradise Real Estate Terms of Use for a summary of how we use our policies and how you can control the personal info we hold for your Paradise Real Estate account.
Who we are

In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Paradise Real Estate Agency and our related business entities.

We operate a comprehensive digital ecosystem designed to provide our clients with seamless access to luxury property markets worldwide. Our privacy and security frameworks apply to all interactions across our various platforms, including:

Primary Desktop Portals: Our main web-based interfaces for property listings, architectural galleries, and international market insights.

Mobile & Tablet Experiences: Optimised browsing for clients on the move, ensuring secure access to off-market data.

Client & Investor Apps: Our dedicated applications used for managing "Buyer’s Circle" entitlements and viewing bespoke architectural concepts.

Encrypted Communication Channels: Our secure methods for sharing sensitive documentation, contract details, and trust account information.

Regardless of how you access our services—whether locally on the Gold Coast or from abroad—your data is handled with the highest level of professional care and in accordance with Australian privacy standards.

In this policy, we’ll refer to these as the “websites”.

In the Credit Reporting Policy, “PREA” or “we”, “our” and “us” refer only to Paradise Real Estate Agency. Where we refer to the data practices of a specific business, "we", "our" or "us" refers to the operating entity of that business.

How we respect information privacy

We understand the importance of protecting your personal information.

Whenever we collect and handle personal info, we’re bound by the Privacy Act. That includes the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) & the Queensland's Acts & Regulation.

Information we collect, how we use it and how we disclose it

The kinds of things you do on our websites might mean we need to collect your personal information. If you want us to send you emails, for example, we’ll need to collect your email address. So, a lot of the time, you’ll know what info we’re collecting, and when. After all, you’ll be giving us the information yourself.

We might also collect non-personal information, like a list of the pages you look at on our websites. We do this so that we can give you the most helpful, personal experience of our services. For example, we use it to suggest properties like the ones you look at most often. We often use cookies or other technology to collect this kind of info. So, you might not realise every time it’s happening.

By using our sites, you agree to only ever give us:

  • your own personal information, or
  • personal info someone's agreed for you to share with us, like a referee in a rental application.

We’ll only ever use or share your information for the purpose you gave it to us for, or something closely related to that. For example, if your sign up to a newsletter for first-home buyers or buyers guide, we might also show you articles with home-buying tips when you come to our websites.

You can always control the information we collect about you.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided.

However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data bout your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised.

As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

Paradise Real Estate may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes to this privacy notice, we may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you a notification. 1. Licensing & Statutory Compliance

Paradise Real Estate is a fully licensed entity under the Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld). We adhere to all statutory requirements regarding:

Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Our agents complete annual mandatory CPD to stay at the forefront of evolving property laws.

2. Financial Administration & Trust Accounting

The security of your funds is our primary concern. In accordance with the Agents Financial Administration Act 2014 (Qld):

Regulated Trust Accounts: All deposits and expressions of interest are held in our audited Paradise Real Estate Trust Account.

Annual Auditing: Our trust accounts undergo rigorous annual audits by independent qualified auditors to ensure every cent is accounted for and handled with 100% transparency.

3. New Seller Disclosure Framework (Effective 2025)

In line with the Property Law Act 2023, we ensure all sales comply with the mandatory Seller Disclosure Regime. Before any contract is signed, we facilitate the provision of the Form 2 Seller Disclosure Statement, protecting both buyers and sellers from transactional risk.

5. Architectural Services & Artist Impressions

While our in-house architectural designer provides photorealistic concepts and impressions:

These are conceptual in nature and do not constitute final building approvals or engineering certificates.

All concepts are designed to inspire and provide a "vision" for the site; however, buyers should seek independent council and building certification before commencing construction.

Disclaimer

The information provided by Paradise Real Estate Agency (“we”, “us”, or “our”) on this website and in our marketing materials is for general informational purposes only. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. No Financial or Legal Advice

All content, including market insights regarding Dubai, Oman, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, is provided as-general information and does not constitute financial, investment, or legal advice. Real estate investments carry inherent risks. We strongly recommend that all clients seek independent legal, financial, and taxation advice tailored to their specific circumstances before entering into any contract or the Buyer’s Circle collective.

2. Artist Impressions & Architectural Concepts

All visual representations, including artist impressions, photorealistic renders, 3D models, and conceptual sketches provided by our in-house architectural designer, are strictly indicative and conceptual only.

They are intended to assist in visualising a property's potential and may not represent the final finished product.

Changes in design, materials, local council regulations, and site conditions may occur.

These concepts do not constitute building approvals or architectural certifications.

3. International Property Listings (Dubai & Oman)

While we take every care to partner with reputable international developers, property laws and ownership rights in foreign jurisdictions (such as Freehold vs. Usufruct in Oman) are subject to local government change. We make no guarantee regarding future rental yields, capital growth, or residency visa eligibility, as these are determined by third-party authorities and market fluctuations.

4. The Buyer’s Circle (Fractional Interests)

Participation in the Buyer’s Circle involves fractional interest in real property.

Past performance of assets within the Circle is not a reliable indicator of future results.

The ability to "sell off" an interest is subject to find a willing buyer and the terms of the specific syndicate agreement.

This is a managed investment structure; please refer to the specific Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) or partnership agreement for full terms.

5. Accuracy of Information

While we endeavour to keep all on-market and off-market information accurate and up-to-date, Paradise Real Estate Agency gives no warranty and makes no representation regarding the completeness or accuracy of the data. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the information contained herein.
